Shared Library
Coaching with colleagues? The shared folder lets all coaches in your team draw from the same collection of workouts and periods, so a training plan built once can be reused by the whole team.
How the shared folder works
- Your Library shows a folder called Shared folder at the top of the list. Items inside it are visible to every coach in your team; everything else in your library stays personal.
- The shared folder appears automatically once your team has more than one member with account type Coach. As long as you are the only coach in your team, you will not see it.
- The library, and with it the shared folder, is only available to team members with account type Coach. Assistant coaches and other staff roles do not have a library button in their calendar. See Staff Members & Assistant Coaches for how roles work.
Sharing an item with your team
- Open the library via the library icon in the top right of the calendar
- Drag the session, period, or folder onto the Shared folder
- Drop it: the item moves into the shared folder and every coach in your team can now use it
Inside the shared folder you can also create subfolders with the new folder button in the bar at the top, to keep the shared collection organized.
Moving an item back to your personal library
- Open the Shared folder
- Drag the item onto the bar at the top of the library panel (the row with the back arrow)
- Drop it there: the item leaves the shared folder and lands back at the top level of your personal library
If the item sits in a subfolder of the shared folder, a drop on that bar moves it up one level at a time. From the top level of the shared folder it returns to your personal library.
Good to know
- Sharing moves the item rather than copying it: it leaves your personal folders and lives in the team-wide shared folder from then on.
- Every coach in the team can open, use, and edit items in the shared folder. Users outside your team never have access.
- Athletes do not see the shared folder: it is a collaboration tool between coaches.
