Forms in your tests
Put your own questions straight into the steps of a test, so you fill in everything in one go and the answers can go into the report.
Adding a form from within a test
When a step has no form yet, you see the box Add your own questions at the bottom. This is how you add one without leaving the test:
- Choose an example: pick a ready-made example. Coachbox copies it to your team and puts it on this step right away.
- Training condition from my metrics: creates a form with the fields you show when you add a metric in the calendar (see Field selection), such as weight, morning pulse, sleep and general feeling. The General information step also has a separate button for this.
Metrics fields fill in the training condition
A field from the Metrics category, such as weight, sleep hours or general feeling, is also saved in the athlete's metrics when the form is submitted. That happens on the test date, or on the day of submitting when the form does not belong to a test. The form overwrites what was there that day, also a value from a watch. Other metric fields of that day stay as they are.
So you enter the training condition once: in the form of your test. It also shows in the athlete's calendar and in the lactate test report.
In the report
Filled-in forms go into the report through the Form answers section, on the shared page and in the PDF. Every form of the test gets its own block there, for example your training condition on General information and your protocol questions on Protocol. Per form you choose whether it is included and which questions. A form that still misses required answers stays a draft and does not appear in the shared report or the PDF.
You create or edit a form under Account > Forms, see Creating a form.
