Changelog: what's new in Coachbox
Coachbox gets new features, improvements and fixes every week. The changelog collects them in one list, so you can see what changed since your last visit without reading a release email.
Where to find the changelog
Click the megaphone icon in the top bar, to the right of your messages and notifications. It opens the changelog page with the most recent entry on top.
The counter on the icon
A red counter on the megaphone shows how many entries were published since the last time you opened the changelog. It updates roughly once a minute, so you do not need to reload the page. Above 99, the counter shows 99+.
Opening the changelog marks everything as read and the counter disappears. Entries published since your previous visit keep a small blue dot next to their title for that visit, so you can still spot them in the list.
What an entry contains
Every entry has a label that tells you what kind of change it is:
- New: a feature you could not use before
- Improved: something that already existed and now works better
- Fix: a problem that has been solved
Below the label you get the title and one or two lines describing the change. Some entries link to a help article with the full explanation. Entries are grouped per month and per publication date, newest first. Scroll down to load older entries. A larger release is highlighted as a framed card so it stands out from the rest of the timeline.
Good to know
- Entries appear in your interface language.
- Coaches and athletes do not see exactly the same list. Entries about coaching features are only shown to coaches; changes that affect everyone are shown to both.
- The changelog lives in the web app. The mobile app has no changelog screen.
- New entries are added continuously, often several in a single week.
