Your Page in the Coach Directory
Athletes looking for a coach find them in the Coach Directory. With your own page there, they see who you are, what you offer and how to reach you, without any extra work from you.

What is the Coach Directory?
The Coach Directory is Coachbox's public coach listing at coaches.coachbox.app. Every coach has a page of their own, which you manage in Coachbox under Account > Coach Directory. Only team admins can see and edit it, because the page represents the whole team.
What do you fill in?
- Profile: your name, a tagline and a description about you.
- Sports: the sports you coach.
- Services: one service per line, for example "Marathon training plan" or "Lactate test".
- Locations: the places where athletes can find you.
- Contact details: how athletes reach you.
The more complete your page, the easier it is for athletes (and for the matchmaking below) to see whether you are a good fit.
Putting your page online
A new page starts offline. With a paid licence, you request publication with Request publication. The Coachbox team reviews your page and then puts it online. You can keep editing it in the meantime. On a trial or an expired licence you can already fill in the page, but it only goes online once you switch to a paid licence. For more on licences, see Pricing & Billing.
Matchmaking
Athletes who look for a coach through Coachbox are shown a few suitable coaches, based on their sport and region. The athlete chooses for themselves who to contact. You decide whether you want to be suggested as an option.
- Go to Account > Coach Directory.
- In the Matchmaking block, turn on the Suggest me to athletes switch.
- Under How do you coach?, choose In person, Online or Both. This tells us whether we can suggest you to athletes nearby, athletes at a distance, or both. If you choose nothing, we assume in person.
You are only suggested if you turned the switch on, your team has an active licence and your page is published. You can turn the switch off again at any time.
