Athlete Groups

Athlete groups let you organize your athletes into named collections, making it easier to navigate between them in the calendar sidebar.

Where groups appear

Groups are shown in the athlete picker sidebar on the calendar page. Instead of scrolling through all athletes, you can click a group name to filter the list. For example, you could create groups like "Runners", "Cyclists", or "Competition team".

Creating a group

  1. Click on the athlete picker (your name in the top left of the calendar)
  2. Click the menu next to Add athlete at the bottom of the sidebar
  3. Select Add athlete group
  4. Enter a title for the group
  5. Click Save

Adding athletes to a group

After creating a group, you can add athletes to it by dragging them into the group in the athlete picker sidebar, or via the group's context menu.

Editing a group

  1. Open the athlete picker
  2. Click the menu next to the group name
  3. Select Edit
  4. Update the group title
  5. Click Save

Deleting a group

  1. Open the group's edit dialog
  2. Click Delete
  3. Confirm the action

Deleting a group does not remove the athletes from your team — it only removes the grouping.

Good to know

  • Groups are also available in the user rights management screen, where you can filter the permissions table by group.
  • A special Muted athletes group is available by default. Athletes in this group will not generate notifications for you.
  • If you navigate away with unsaved changes, Coachbox will warn you before closing the dialog.
