Milestones
Milestones hold everything about an athlete that does not belong in the calendar: intake forms, lactate test reports, bike fit assessments. They sit on one timeline per athlete, carry attachments, and you decide per milestone who is allowed to see them. Unlike a note, which belongs to a day in the calendar, a milestone stands on its own.
Creating a milestone
- Open your athlete and go to the Milestones tab
- Click Add milestone
- Fill in a Title and a Date
- Add attachments if you have any
- Under Visible for, tick the people who may see this milestone
- Click Save
Visible for
Every milestone carries its own list of users. Only the people you tick will see it. That lets you share a bike fit report with the athlete and the bike fitter, while an intake conversation stays visible to you and your fellow coach only.
This works per milestone, not per athlete, so you can share some items on a timeline and keep others private.
Attachments
Attach reports, photos or test results to a milestone. The files belong to the milestone itself, so anyone who cannot see the milestone cannot reach the files either.
Reactions
Anyone who can see a milestone can leave a reaction underneath it. The conversation about a report then lives next to the report, instead of in a separate email thread.
Finding things back
A search field sits at the top of the timeline. It searches the titles and the content of this athlete's milestones.
Good to know
- Visibility is enforced by the server, not merely hidden in the interface. You only get back the milestones you were ticked for.
- Milestones are per athlete. Switch athlete and you see that person's own timeline.
- Deleting a milestone asks for confirmation first and cannot be undone.
- If you close the window with unsaved changes, Coachbox warns you first.
