Notes

Notes let you add text entries to an athlete's calendar — useful for recording observations, reminders, or general feedback that is not tied to a specific workout.

Creating a note

  1. Right-click on a day in the calendar
  2. Select the note icon (document icon) from the context menu
  3. Enter a title and date
  4. Write your note content in the rich text editor
  5. Click Save

Note fields

  • Title — A short name for the note
  • Date — The date the note is placed on in the calendar
  • Note — Rich text content with formatting support (bold, italic, headings, lists)

Attachments

You can attach files to notes by dragging them into the editor or clicking to browse.

Viewing and editing notes

Notes appear on the calendar as small cards. Click a note to open it. You can edit notes that you created — notes from other coaches or athletes are read-only.

Context menu

Right-click a note on the calendar to:

  • Open — View the full note
  • Delete — Remove the note (with confirmation)

Comments

Other users can leave comments (reactions) on notes, similar to workout comments. This is useful for back-and-forth communication about an observation.

Good to know

  • Notes are scoped to the athlete's calendar — only users with access to that calendar can see them.
  • Only the creator of a note can edit or delete it.
  • If you navigate away with unsaved changes, Coachbox will warn you before closing.
  • Notes can be dragged to a different day on the calendar to reschedule them.
