Export Workouts to Garmin

Coachbox integrates with Garmin Connect, allowing you to send workouts directly to your Garmin device.

Prerequisites

Before exporting to Garmin, ensure:

  • Your Garmin Connect account is linked to Coachbox
  • Your Garmin device supports workout downloads
  • Your device is synced with Garmin Connect

Linking Garmin Connect

If you haven't linked your accounts yet:

  1. Go to SettingsConnections
  2. Click Connect next to Garmin
  3. Log in to your Garmin Connect account
  4. Authorize Coachbox to access your account

Exporting a Workout

Step-by-Step

  1. Open the workout you want to export
  2. Click the Export button
  3. Select Garmin Connect as the destination
  4. Click Send to Garmin
  5. The workout will appear in your Garmin Connect workouts

Syncing to Your Device

After exporting:

  1. Open Garmin Connect on your phone
  2. Ensure your device is connected via Bluetooth
  3. Sync your device
  4. The workout will download to your device

Supported Workout Types

Garmin supports these workout types from Coachbox:

  • Cycling workouts - Power and heart rate targets
  • Running workouts - Pace, heart rate, and power targets
  • Swimming workouts - Pace and stroke targets

Troubleshooting

Workout not appearing on device?

  • Check that your device supports workout downloads
  • Try manually syncing in Garmin Connect
  • Verify the workout was successfully sent to Garmin Connect

Connection issues?

  • Re-authorize the Garmin connection in Coachbox
  • Check for Garmin Connect service outages
  • Ensure your Garmin account is active
